The preseason is closing up and the Phillies finished the preseason much better than they started it. Are the ready for opening day? They start off the season at home against the Washington Nationals. The last two season the started the season off getting swept in the first series, They must not repeat that this season, as they will not be as fortunate as last with the Mets collapse.

I don't want to blow anything out of proportion but they are starting to win in the pre-season, 3 in a row. I have no idea what to expect out of this season.

They suck this preseason.

Another loss, may they aren't inspiring hopes of a better season than last year.

Poor pre-season start

I know it's just pre-season but they are last in the league and have given up 91 runs in 13 games. That is 7 runs a game. They say that pitchers are behind in pre-season but then why have they only scored 60 runs. I hope it gets better. I am worried about their chances. They did nothing to improve their pitching in the off season.
